Because maybe you haven’t thought about it a lot, but when I walk into an Anthropologie or a Walmart (don’t @ me), I think about the sheer amount of clothes in one single store and multiply that by thousands. But fashion is also art, and it produces good and true beauty at times. It’s heavy-thinking when all I want is a pair of sweatpants to go with my other 12 pairs of sweatpants. I do this while drinking expensive coffee out of a disposable cup. It’s a lot to contend with.
