Happy New Year, friends! My hope is to write an *official* State of the Race overview over the next few days as an exclusive for subscribers, but here I want to provide some thoughts concerning a number of different events and discussions that have percolated over the last couple of weeks.
You are both very busy people, but if you have a chance, I highly encourage you to listen to Skye Jethani and Phil Visher's "Holy Post Podcast" about the CT editorial. As a former staffer at CT, Skye has special insights. (Besides, they are just terrific human beings who are both funny and thoughtful. They really know their "stuff" as it were.) Additionally, they discuss the difference between Fundamentalism and Evangelicalism that has largely been forgotten and is not understood by mainstream press or America in general. Looking forward to learning more from you both in 2020. Blessings, Tammie W.
